“The only mistake I made, and even my coaches are telling me, is that they allowed me to spar these top guys,” Bakole tells The Independent jili

“These guys know they don’t belong where they are now, because if I stand with them, I give them problems jili

I only show them three or four punches, because I’m coming to help them; but even in helping them, I’m giving them problems jili

“When we spar, everyone in the gym is quiet, focused, watching us jili

I give him a fight, he gives me a fight back, and I always learn a lot jili

Every time he calls me, I always go jili

I don’t know if I’ll meet him one day in the ring; all I know is he’s the only one who can give me good sparring, because we keep coming forward and stand and fight like Muhammad Ali and George Foreman jili

”23 December is one of the mooted dates for Fury vs Usyk, and Bakole trusts his sparring partner to be able to turn around in time, also backing the “Gypsy King” to make light work of Ngannou jili

“Tyson knows what he’s doing jili

Maybe he’ll stop Ngannou early, that’s the only reason I can think why he signed the contract [to box Usyk] jili

He will not play with Ngannou, I don’t see Ngannou surviving a round with Fury jili

Easy money, then go and work hard for Usyk, because it’s a tough, 12-round fight jili

Bill Sweeney, the chief executive of England’s Rugby jili Football Union (RFU), has confirmed that “tentative” discussions have been held over a possible British and Irish league jili

The long-mooted idea would unite club rugby in the British Isles into one competition jili

The loss of London Irish, Worcester Warriors and Wasps in the last 13 months has highlighted financial problems in the English domestic game, with the top-flight Gallagher Premiership now containing just 10 teams jili

The four Welsh regions have also had their funding cut for the new season of the United Rugby Championship (URC), which features competing teams from Ireland, Scotland, South Africa and Italy jili

Sweeney is currently helping to negotiate a new Professional Game Partnership (PGP) jili between the Premiership and RFU that it is hoped will solve many of the issues ailing the English game jili

But while suggesting that plans were pressing ahead on that front ahead of a potential implementation next summer, the RFU CEO confirmed that he had engaged in “hypothetical” discussions about a British and Irish league jili

“I think you’d expect us to talk about anything really, the way the game needs to grow, the game needs to be financially stronger,” Sweeney explained jili

That one’s not fully developed by any means jili

“So it’s a very tentative, hypothetical conversation at this stage but it has certain merits, but it also has certain challenges jili

It doesn’t affect the PGP, we will go ahead with a PGP in parallel, and just do that jili

But it’s one of a number of things that people talk about in terms of how do you take the game forward jili

”“It is fraught with challenges, I tend to think about look what happened in jili football with the European Super League, so fans are going to be taken into consideration on this jili

What does that mean in terms of the overall structure? “Some very big, significant questions are going to be asked on it, which is why I say at this stage, it’s very tentative but we consider all conversations jili

”The next couple of years are likely to see the introduction of a “Premiership Two” to replace the Championship as the RFU looks to maximise the efficacy and revenue of the second tier jili

This may include a return for the three rugby brands lost from the Premiership this year jili
